Hilsa is that the hallmark of Bengali identity. you do not raise a Bengali why they just like the Hilsa fish. Hilsa fish is simply not closely-held by East Pakistan. it's the trademark of all Bengali folks, everywhere the globe. As for the minorities--Bengalis UN agency don't love Hilsa (yes, there ar folks like that...)--we Bengalis ar comprehensive of such minorities with associate degree agenda of food jihad on them within the hope of changing them someday in their life.
